The Twin Block Appliance can also be used to close an anterior open bite. This design utilizes the standard 70-degree occlusal bite blocks to initiate a functional correction of a skeletal Class II -- while the anterior teeth are left slightly out of contact with the appliance to encourage reduction of the open bite. Leaving all posterior teeth in contact with the blocks prevents their eruption. Every time the patient swallows, lip action works to close the open bite. The labial bow can also be adjusted to actively move the anteriors lingually.

A digital or analog impression is sent to our lab for prep.
The impression is fabricated and prepped. Brackets will be removed if present. This will help get the model ready for your appliance.
Wire bending technicians will carefully bend and contour the wire around the dental model and then our acrylic techs will pour monomer and polymer on top to form the acrylic.
Technicians will add finishing touches to make sure the appliance is as shiny and sparkly as it needs to be.
The completed appliance goes through rigorous checks and is then sent out through a courier service or, if you're a local southern Californian, Roque will personally deliver it to you,
Our turn-around time for removable retainers is 5 to 7 business days.
We take this time to craft your appliance with the precision, quality, and care that you deserve.
Let's make smiles together.
