The design of this expander allows it to apply lateral force to both the teeth and the walls of the palate. This is achieved by using an acrylic borne screw embedded in an acrylic plate. A split in the acrylic along the patient’s midline widens as the screw is turned. Heavy wires embedded in the plate are welded to bands and run along the lingual surfaces of the patient’s posterior teeth. Some clinicians feel that the acrylic plate aids in achieving more true lateral expansion rather than the outward tipping of the posterior teeth sometimes associated with the expanders that only push against the teeth.

A digital or analog impression is sent to our lab for prep.
The impression is fabricated and prepped. Brackets will be removed if present. This will help get the model ready for your appliance.
A technician will fabricate the framework components, then merge everything with the acrylic plate.
Technicians will add finishing touches to make sure the appliance is as shiny and sparkly as it needs to be.
The completed appliance goes through rigorous checks and is then sent out through a courier service or, if you're a local southern Californian, Roque will personally deliver it to you,
Our turn-around time for removable retainers is 5 to 7 business days.
We take this time to craft your appliance with the precision, quality, and care that you deserve.
Let's make smiles together.
