Compared to Pendulum the Pendex variation adds a screw to the acrylic plate. The Pendex combines clinically active dieselization and patient activated expansion into one appliance for fixed arch development. The distilizing spring coils are pre-activated prior to delivery and attached mechanically to the molars using welded lingual sheaths to the band. Just like the Pendulum the wire used to make the springs also has a great deal of what is referred to as “memory”, meaning it tends to spring back to its original shape. This prevents the clinician from having to make frequent adjustments to the distilizing springs.

A digital or analog impression is sent to our lab for prep.
The impression is fabricated and prepped. Brackets will be removed if present. This will help get the model ready for your appliance.
A technician working on your fixed orthodontic appliance forms frameworks and metal components which are then all joined together using a laser welder for precision and durability.
Technicians will add finishing touches to make sure the appliance is as shiny and sparkly as it needs to be.
The completed appliance goes through rigorous checks and is then sent out through a courier service or, if you're a local southern Californian, Roque will personally deliver it to you,
