The pendex appliance is designed to perform a dual function: it uses a central expansion screw to rapidly widen the upper jaw (palatal expansion), and it uses wire springs to simultaneously distalize (move backward) the upper molars. This combination effectively corrects crowding and, in some cases, flaring of the upper front teeth.

A digital or analog impression is sent to our lab for prep.
The impression is fabricated and prepped. Brackets will be removed if present. This will help get the model ready for your appliance.
A technician working on your fixed orthodontic appliance forms frameworks and metal components which are then all joined together using a laser welder for precision and durability.
Technicians will add finishing touches to make sure the appliance is as shiny and sparkly as it needs to be.
The completed appliance goes through rigorous checks and is then sent out through a courier service or, if you're a local southern Californian, Roque will personally deliver it to you,
